I imagine this takes place moments after they were having a shouting match and Eren yelled something meant as an insult but was like “then you wouldn’t make me worry so much you IDIOT.”

and Jean froze staring at a fuming Eren before doing this in response without saying anything and Eren has no fucking clue and is still raring to go in “fight mode” and Jean realizes Eren isn’t aware of what he just said and just hugs him tighter for it.

I also imagine this exact thing would happen between them with their roles reversed. (maybe another drawing to do…)
